They're perfect. I have the 7mm ones and they're very comfortable behind the knees when squatting. Very happy with my purchase.
I use it for farmer's holds and it works very well; the handles remain stable and don't touch my legs during the exercise. The construction seems solid and all the welds are present (unlike the Amazon models).
